So, my husband usually lets me know when he gets to work bc he works 30 miles away. Today, he didn’t. I had a feeling something was wrong bc I called multiple times, texted and even messaged him on Facebook. All calls went to voicemail, messages didn’t send. We have our locations on each other due to the fact that he works so far away and my job has me driving all around KY. We both have complete trust in each other, bc I know people are going to ask why we have our locations on each other

I called my mom to see if she could get ahold of him, and it did the same to her. So, I drove the 30 miles to his work to see if he was okay.

The reason I drove is because in November, I had a feeling something bad happened after his brother and brothers girlfriend left to go pick up their son. 3 hours later, we get a call from the coroner saying his brother was killed in a car accident. Besides me, his brother was all he had. (His mom and grandma had passed away.)

When I got to his work his car is there and I go to the guard shack to have them call him down. My question is- am I in the wrong for driving 60 miles round trip just to make sure he was okay?

I didn’t want to receive another call saying my husband was killed in a car accident. 😓
