Chlamydia?!?

About 4 months ago I slept with someone I trusted. I recently went in to have a pap smear and herpes test done (the doctor physically scraped the bottom of my vag). I found out i have chlamydia and I was negative on all other sti’s but what are the chances I could have something else? Does chlamydia go away for good after the medication?

It does go away permanently, they will usually ask for you to come in for a another test to confirm that it’s gone. Chlamydia is extremely common and you have an extremely low risk of having anything else especially because most STDs would have surfaced long before four months in that test that they did. You should be clear!
