it is normal to have IUI on cycle day 15 not 14?? 🙄😢🤷🏻‍♀️

So this month my dr put me on femara 5 mg from day 3 to day 8 and merional (HMG) from day 9 to 13 of my cycle (first cycle using meds) 
Then on day 13 scan (yesterday july 5) showed 2 follicles of 22mm...so I did the trigger shot same day at 8:00 pm...and scheduled 
IUI
 for saturday morning (on cycle day 15)...Im so afraid I had ovulated before saturday..could this be possible!? Or he should know better??
Please any advise or experience to share would be nice...Im so nervous for tomorrow and afraid this does not work 😢🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️
Note: after trigger shot ( today Friday) I no longer have cm like yesterday and that worries me more! 😢😢

My doctor did it the same as yours on my second cycle. I also didnt produce any CM afterward which concerned me. it was because I was pregnant :)

yeah I wouldn’t get hung up on cycle days. my iui was on cd 10!

I’ve done 2 IUI cycles back to back. First one was on day 10 and second one was on day 19. Ovulated on my own both times too. It’s hard not knowing when it will be but each cycle is so different.

Did you also take a OPK? I had 2 positive OPKs on 7/3, which was cycle day 11 for me. It just so happened I had also scheduled my follicle ultrasound that day. I had a 22mm follicle. Based off my positive OPKs, she wanted me to do my IUI the following day, but said as long as it’s done within 24-36 hours that was fine. So we could’ve done it early am Friday morning, but that was pushing it and I could tell my body was going to ovulate soon so I opted for the next day. 
She told me I didn’t need to take my trigger injection since she said I was probably going to ovulate soon on my own. She said it didn’t hurt to take it anyways, so I did. 
Have you talked with your doctor about your concerns and if you could do it sooner?

The trigger will have you ovulate about 36 hours later, so my clinic always has us get our IUIs 36 hours after we trigger. What matters most is when you ovulate, not what cd you’re on.
