My daughter is 18 months and I feel so isolated. Lately she has been throwing temper tantrums constantly. For example, she used to go for walks in her stroller with me. Now she screams to be in there and we cant even leave our driveway. If i let her walk freely, she will throw a tantrum because i dont let her off the sidewalk or let her go wherever she wants. Going to town is the same thing with the cart. i feel my only option for sanity is staying home. Her doctor told me to ignore her tantrums. ive tried that. shell go until she comes to me for a hug but it takes a long time. ive also tried redirecting her and even puttin her on time out. ahhhhhhh. I know i care way too much what outside people think of my parenting when they see her tantrums which gives me so much anxiety and makes things even worse. im exhausted.
