What’s the rule on ejaculation for ivf?

I am currently doing my first cycle of IVF. It’s been predicted that my trigger shot will be done either Sunday night the 8th or Monday the 9th. ( plz: this is a question for those who have done ivf before)

Doctor said my husband should be ejaculating every 2 to 3 days. We want his sample to be as perfect as possible. He has ejaculated July the 1st, the 4th and the 6th.

Any thoughts on where to go from here? Should he do it one ☝️ more time or not prior to giving his baby sample?
