Can you get your period and still be pregnant?

I don’t know exactly how it’s possible but my mom had a friend who got her period and she was regular but guess what? She found out she was 5 months pregnant! Five months! I was so shocked!

Technically it is impossible to have a period while pregnant. But you can have bleeding. Implantation bleeding, and general light bleeding is quite normal in the early weeks. Generally though you wouldn’t experience heavy bleeding for more than a day otherwise you would lose the baby. However it is possible if you have something else going on in there. 
If you have got a normal period with heavy bleeding and clots at the normal time you’d get your period then I’d think it’s safe to say you are not pregnant. If you got a very light period, you may usually have very light periods so this may be normal for you but not actually be your period. If you take a test a week after having the bleeding and a test is negative then you can be almost positive you’re not pregnant :)

Well I got my period it lasted up to 4 days so could implantation bleeding still be a worry?
