Nuvaring?

I am about to put in my first nuvaring right after my shower. Anyone else have experience with it? I'd like to hear your experiences cause I'm a little nervous, I've been on the pill for 2 years and am switching because I'm now sexually active and feel something other than the pill will give me peace of mind because I suck at taking it.

Hi, I tried nuvaring a while ago for about 3 months. It protected me from pregnancy, works wonderfully. But it did give me some nasty uti that took a year to get rid of.

ive been using it for what is going to be 6 months now and i would say it is very reliable as long as you are using it right (removing and replacing on right day at right time or close to it). this past month ive finally let my SO finish in me and ive gotten my period right on time, so if effectiveness is a concern for you now that you are sexually active then i wouldnt worry about it too much!
