What's going on?

So, I haven't had my period in 2 months. I've taken a test before I was supposed to get last month's period,  and nothing. I'm wondering what it could mean. I've been taking my birth control pills everyday. Someone know what it could be? I appreciate your help. Thanks.

Birth control pills tell your body you’re already pregnant. Taking the hormones without taking the placebo pills will cause you to skip your period, which is totally normal. You only need to have your period once every three months while taking BC, to flush out your system. If you stop taking them for two or three days, your period will start.
