When do I test??

No one answered me last time so I’ll post again! I had sex about a week ago and my period was due today (no signs whatsoever) and I figure it is far too early to find out if it’s only been a week but when can I test? Is it two weeks?

Answer

You can get the early tests but they have a higher chance of giving you a false negative. Your most accurate results are two weeks post sexy time. Hang in there, chances are you’ll get your period before then! And word to the wise: get the dollar store tests because they’re actually just cheap because they’re not as convenient. The cheap ones are what we use in hospital (I’m an RN).

Answer

Technically you can test the day your period is due but for a more accurate result wait at least a week. Good luck on getting whatever result you're going for.
