Starting cloth diapering at 11 months?

Question

Would it be pointless/waste of money to start cloth diapering so late? My daughter gets pretty rashy with any brand diaper. I have 6 cloth diapers already but don’t have a big enough stash for 3-4 days. Is it too late to start?

I started around 9 months. No regrets. Of course I’ve spent a bunch because the prints are just irresistible. I suggest joining Fluff Love and doing research on your wash routine and there are also a ton of bst groups on Facebook.

I don’t think it’s too late at all! I think it’s so worth it to have less chemicals on the babe. It’s more upfront but you will save more in the end. I agree, join Fluff Love & CD Science fb group for help on wash routine and troubleshooting and I learned so much from Cloth Diapering Mamas group on fb. I just started cloth diapering about a month ago at 2 mo old and I love it!

If you’re having rash issues I’d give it a try. You can pick up used cloth for a lot cheaper

Never! I started with my first son when he was a year old.  Saved his diapers for baby number 2 when he came not even 2 years later.  I had both in cloth for awhile before my oldest potty trained!

Not at all! It’s still going to save you money. I’d look for gently used diapers on Facebook marketplace or letgo. I was surprised how nice they were and just washed them very well before using them. 
Also Alva Baby pockets are pretty reasonable.
