Were any other moms on gabapentin before you found out you were pregnant?

I had been taking it for 4-5 weeks before I realized I was pregnant then I weaned off.

I worry that it may have hurt my baby.

I’m 16 weeks now, so we should be able to see any abnormalities on the next scan but I’m pretty stressed while waiting.

Did your baby turn out ok? If not, what were the consequences?

I’ve also been taking 5mg (not micrograms, milligrams, yes, it’s a large amount) of folic acid ever since I found out to try and counteract the gabapentin.

I really wish they would’ve told me to be extra careful not to get pregnant while taking it... I feel so guilty... ☹️
