Doula cost

If you’ve booked a doula, how much did you pay them? I’ve just started looking (36 weeks 😬) and went to the most recommended place in Houston- they charge $1650 for the basic package... It does include a pre and post natal massage. But that’s def not in my budget.

I’m curious what you ladies have found!
