I have seen this movie with young children who prefer to skip the sad parts, however I just watched the first ten minutes and can not believe how accurately they depicted Ellie's miscarriage 💔. I always assumed the film was about her passing, but her miscarriage and struggle with infertility are the reason they decide to live life to its fullest. This is such a thoughtful emotional portrayal and from Pixar of all things, while most movies completely miss the mark or avoid the topic all together. Its very sad and triggering so if you are struggling I don't reccomend it but for me it I felt someone shared my heartache.
