Can’t get pregnant

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 5 months now with no luck. My husband says his sperm is light in color and thinks his sperm count is low? He read somewhere online that we should take a break from trying until his sperm builds up again.

Any advice or going through something like this?

I went to my obgyn a month ago and she prescribed me prenatal vitamins. She said if we aren’t pregnant by the next year she will start testing on me and my husband to see whats going on.
