Happened to me back in June. Hurt like a bitch. Mine wasn’t this severe, but try your best to get off the rest of the acrylic with acetone. It will hurt, but you can keep the lower half if you want. Just keep a bandaid over the open skin. My nail didn’t snap, but it did bend back. It’s just now back to normal. It didn’t damage my nail. I would assume yours will be the same because the whole nail didn’t come off.

Omg ow 😭😭 wash it good with soap and water. Clip the other side off with nail clippers if you can, and then put some neosporin and ice if you want. That looks so painful!! How did it happen?

Also, I just cleaned mine with hydrogen peroxide and Neosporin.

clip off that half that is hanging and apply super glue or nail glue. it won't hurt anymore. then let it heal a few days and let it heal and then get it removed. always works for me.

Happened to me once hurt like a 🤬! I wouldn’t remove the nail coating that is still on because your nail is weak underneath from them smoothing it down to begin with. I would clean it with peroxide and coat it with neosporin. I would go between airing it out and covering it too. Best of luck and so sorry that happened to you.
