and did it hurt the first time? 2 weeks PP and dying to have sex with hubby already. 😭 going to wait the 6 weeks but also nervous about it hurting! He's already large and I had an episiotomy too. 👀 feel free to share experiences?

I waited 6 weeks and it did not hurt. I was just really dry, so i had to use lube. For both my babies I had low sex drive for the first 6 months.

I waited until 8 weeks! My tear didn’t heal completely by 6 weeks and then I procrastinated until 8 weeks pp. Yes, it hurt like hell to me. Just be sure to lube the heck out of it!! But each experience is different per person.

I was cleared at 6 weeks by my doctor. It stung a little at first, but it hurt so bad losing my virginity that post baby was nothing compared to that. Good luck! It's so hard waiting!!

Wait the 6 weeks and then you can give it a try. Start slow, use lube and lots of foreplay. If there’s pain, wait another week and try again.
