First IUI

This is my first cycle using meds and doing IUI. I was on 50mg of clomid day 3-7 and today (day 11) I went in for monitoring and they said everything looked good but to come back tomorrow bc I wasn’t ready for trigger shot. I had 1 follicle at 17mm and another at 18mm a few others I think 13mm and 14mm. The doctor said I should be good to go tomorrow for the trigger shot then IUI on Tuesday morning which would be day 13. I am so nervous! I ovulate anywhere from day 12-14.

Should I have sex tonight just in case? Also, are the follicle sizes a big factor of increasing the odds of getting pregnant. I wonder if my follicles weren’t large enough prior to monitoring and that was my issue. I assume that clomid helps them increase in size because I have no problem ovulating.

Anyone want to share their clomid and IUI experiences ?
