should I take a test???

The last time I had sex was the beginning of June when my boyfriend and I went on a vacation. I was in the pill for the following week or so and then my prescription ran out. I just got back on it. I was expected to start my period after my vacation but I dont remember if I had it (I'm horrible about keeping track, which led me to this app). if I had gotten my period then this will put me 4 days late give or take. but if I hadn't then I'm over a month late. I know the pill can mess up a women's cycle.

my question is: should I take a test or just wait it out? I'm really scared and dont want to be a mom since I'm still in college.
