Anyone on Nexplanon experience a backwards period.

I was spotting brown, then dark red Monday until Wednesday. Wednesday night without warning a random gush of blood and tissue came out while in the shower.

No cramps this entire time, began bleeding too light for a regular pad or light tampon but too heavy for a liner.

Saturday evening, cramps abdominal and back came on strong and lasted until 7am Sunday morning.

The bleeding was gone.

Had sex Sunday morning, to bleed a rich red but lightly ( I can not fill up a regular pad)

Back story.

On nexplanon since Dec 2016, after the birth of my last child.

Periods came every other month for two weeks. Became regular in January, once a month every month.

Most recent period ended June 19th and was not set to begin July 17th

It came July 2nd

And I was cramping a week prior to this.

PT came back negative - took one 07/07/18

Any advice.

Dr appt in August. ObGyn will be further out
