Is he going to Ft. Bennings? When my boyfriend left for basic back in October it was the hardest thing at the time so I threw myself into work and it was three weeks until I finally got to hear from him. It was always amazing writing letters back and forth, I still have his letters. Although his SGTs made him throw everything away.

I worked a lot, and tried to look forward to the few minutes I'd get to talk to him every couple of weeks. I wrote a letter a day, just ramblings really (some other stuff thrown in too 😉) but mostly I just stayed busy and tried to focus on the good that would come of it

I plan on working full time, plus I’ll be taking a few classes. PLUS I’ll be in my third trimester and it’s up to me alone to buy all the baby stuff and set up the nursery. So I will be pretty busy. Lonely, probably, but busy.

I was in school so that kept me busy. Hang with friends, catch up with your family. Find some hobbies

When my guy left I was only babysitting a few hours a day so I had plenty of time to be sad lol. But writing letters, Netflix, picking out what outfits to wear to family day/graduation, and hanging out with friends helped pass the time. The first couple weeks were the hardest. Then I started to get his letters and it made things better.
