What did your waters breaking feel like?

Earlier today I was peeing, and when I was done peeing, I felt almost a pop for lack of a better way to describe it. More liquid came out, but not enough for me to be like “oh that was my water!” 
I have been watching to see if I leak any more or have more liquid “gushes” but really haven’t had anything... 
Have any of you experienced that? What did it feel like when your water broke?

It feels like you’re peeing yourself and you can’t stop it, like a never ending pee lol

Well, looks like the doctor isn’t worried about anything that happened yesterday haha! She scheduled induction for the 17th if he hasn’t made his arrival by then!

When my water actually broke it felt (and sounded) like a rubber band snapped inside of me. I quickly made it to the toilet and there was a gush. After that I was constantly leaking fluid.

Like you have no control over your bladder. 
If no more is coming out then you could go into active labour soon. 
My waters all gushed out in one go, my friend didn’t have it anything like me as her baby’s head was blocking it from coming out. It all came gushing out with her baby.

My doctor broke mine but it felt like i peed myself.

The midwife this time said there are actually two membranes. If one pops, it’s the big fish (which I had with my first). If the other pops, you can get smaller gushes but not the big noticeable thing. I suspect this happened to me the second time because I recognized the smell and my underwear was wetter than usual, but there hadn’t been the pop.

For me-I peed and then I went to brush my teeth.  Then I had a tiny spot of what I thought was pee from not wiping enough come down my leg.  I wiped it not thinking anything of it but thought-hmm-that was odd.  Then I got in the shower and when I bent to pick up soap-I felt warm ness come down my leg. I dried up and it was dry.  I called labor and delivery and they told me to just come in-I was dry from this point forward.  Got checked and yup-water was broken.  So -in my experience it doesn’t have to be a gush!  But it never hurts to call L&D; or just go in for a check.  Good luck!!

mine did NOT gush but just kept leaking after about 20 minutes I knew it was probably broken went in and they tested with a strip and I was right my water "broke"

okay so I'm going to give you a test to try. go pee, lay down with fresh underwear and a pad. if you don't have a pad that's fine(it'll just wet your panties really well) stand up after 30 min and examine the pad if its wet your water.
