Religious? Let’s talk about that!

Question

If you said yes, what is your religion. If you said no what has brought you to this point and if you don’t know, what are your doubts?

Non religious but spiritual:) I believe in a higher power/god/holy spirit/allah/buddah/whatever you want to call it. But I believe religion is mostly used for dividing and causing people to think theyre better than others, just like politics. Ive studied a bit of most religions and honestly they all seem like different flavors of the same story. We are all here just trying to figure it out.

I am not religious. I just don’t believe there is some magical man/place in the sky that watches everything you do, listens to billions of prayers, and makes things happen or not happen. I know it’s more in depth than that, but i just don’t believe in a god. I believe in science. I was raised christian and remember from an early age being like, i cant wait until i’m old enough to not have to do this any more. I don’t hate on those who are religious and i purposefully (usually) stay away from conversations about religion because it’s not something worth arguing about, like politics lol.

I'm not religious. My father was non denominational Christian while my mother was catholic. I was raised under both churches. But as I got older I found myself questioning the bible more and more. While I've learned of other religions none of them really spoke to my soul. I couldn't really connect to any of them, my own included. So I've accepted religion just isn't for me and stopped trying to make a piece fit when it just didn't. I don't have anything against those that are religious though.

I was raised nondenominational Protestant but am currently looking into converting to Islam. I studied abroad in Morocco for an academic year (2016/2017) and I have been studying religions (especially Islam) for the past two years.
