Is it okay to bring your LO to other people’s baby/wedding showers?

I’ve been invited to many showers this summer but the invites/envelopes are just addressed to me. Does this mean I need to leave my baby (3 months) at home? What would you do!

I would ask. Most people would/should understand that you need to bring your child

Any baby under 6 months I would expect to be with mommy at all times. Anyone who is asking you to leave your baby at home needs to be reminded that babies eat every 2 hrs and if you’re nursing you’re their only source of food. I would bring baby and make no apologies. This is who you are now

I wouldn’t, but that’s mostly because I would use it as a reason to get away and have some adult time. Everyone needs a break, so why not enjoy a celebration with adults and not have to worry about your little one?

A baby shower yeah but I wouldn’t bring a baby to a bridal shower. I’d also just ask the person if they were okay with it.

Honestly my son goes anywhere I go so people should know not to invite you if they don’t want your baby there and besides me personally I don’t want to go anywhere if my son isn’t also welcomed...rude
