My boyfriend wants to join the airforce. It would be a really good situation for us and it’s something that he really wants to do. He’s been thinking about it for a long time and now it’s a real idea that we need to act on or not. The only downside is leaving our families. It’s so hard to even think about for me 😩 it’s not even about friends or leaving the state or home. It’s just my immediate family - and it makes me sick to even think about and I don’t want it to ruin this whole possible future for us. Everything about it seems perfect for us. I’m just having a hard time thinking about leaving my family. How did you get past leaving your family? How did you make the choice?
