At how many weeks did you see Dr?

Hi mamas and mamas-to-be!
I’m almost 5 weeks preggo and wanting to get into the doctor ASAP. My last dr (with my first child) did a tummy ultrasound at 6 weeks and had no problem finding a heartbeat. The new doctor wants me to come in at 9 weeks and wants to do a vaginal ultrasound “because even at 9 weeks it can be hard for I hear the heartbeat”. This is kind of making me want to find another doctor. Am I being crazy? Lol
I’m just curious- when did your doctor want you to come in for the first checkup and ultrasound?

i just scheduled mine and they said between 8 and 10 weeks. my appointment is about at 8 weeks

I don’t even get an ultrasound until 20 wks! I only get a heartbeat check

My dr did internal(vag) sonos until 12 weeks. I think theyre better anyway! But go with your gut

My Dr is seeing me at 7w3 and will do an ultrasound. I’m praying we can hear the heartbeat!

Some doctors don’t want to see you until 10 weeks every doctor is different so don’t be worried

I’m going in for my first prenatal visit (don’t think I’m having an ultrasound this day) on Thursday, so I’ll be 5w6d

My last Dr saw me at 9 weeks with vaginal ultrasound and he got a great picture of my son and saw his heart beat. 
This doctor wants to see at 7 weeks and I don't know what she is going to do.

My first appt is at 8 weeks, then follow up at 12 weeks. It seems like forever away, but I don’t like unnecessary tests so trying to enjoy this time for what it is.
