I'm a FTM and my insurance gave me three options to order my breast pump. I hope to breastfeed for one year but will need to go back to work after a short maternity leave. Any recommendations you can provide would be so awesome! TIA!

I have the spectra S2 and I love it! Cleaning is easy and it works great. I do wish I had gotten the S1 though because it’s rechargeable so you could like pump in your car or move which is always nice

Totally agree about the Ameda, I hated it and it hurt me to pump even with the correct flange size. 
I have both Spectra s1 and s2 and they are seriously an amazing pump! I just went back to work last Monday and have been pumping 20oz a day no problem. The let down mode truly mimics a nursing babe trying to trigger letdown. I had to order different flange sizes through maymom on Amazon since I need a size 21 and Spectra doesn't carry that small of a flange. Overall though, I love it and will probably never try another pump after this.

My insurance only gave me the option of an Ameda Purely Yours...IT WAS HORRIBLE!!!! I ended up buying a Spectra S1 and it was night and day difference. I would highly recommend you don’t get an Ameda!!
