Flying is with infant?

Question

Any tips for flying with a 6 month old? I breastfeed and pump so if anyone has any experience with TSA that will be helpful as well! We are going from California to England with a layover in New York.

I flew alone with my 8 month old he just nursed and slept the flight I took the boppy pillow on with me and he layed on that for his nap. I didn't pump so no help there. you can always call the airport and ask for sure.

I’m not sure about in the US but in Canada I had no issues flying with a breast pump, it’s a medical device but I advise you not to bring it on the plane as it’s one more thing to lug if you can just nurse. My son just slept and nursed when we flew, the sound of the engines and the motion lull them to sleep. We did fly into the US from Canada when my son was 1, the only issue was I had bananas, I needed to throw them out going through the US security all of the other food I had for my son was fine including cows milk.
