Right before I left the house for my scheduled doctors appt this morning I felt liquid running down both sides of my legs. I immediately knew it was my water breaking. So we headed to our appt as planned and the doctor confirmed that my water is leaking and that I’m 3-4 cm dilated and 80% effaced. I was instructed to go eat and be at the hospital within the next couple of hours. So we did that and got to the hospital 3 hours later (oops)...I’m now in my room and just got pitocin since my water broke but I’m not in active labor. Praying that this is not a long drawn out process and that she’ll be here before midnight! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 I’m 38 weeks + 4 days and had a scheduled induction for this Friday, but clearly my child had other plans. I’m excited to meet her FINALLY!
