Help!

So, I started my period maybe a few months ago. I had a few questions. Is it normal to get gurgling gas in your stomach during or before your period? Last night I couldn’t go to sleep because I was cramping so bad. My period goes on and off like the longest I’ve been on it was three weeks! Help please.
