I think I’m in love with my FWB, and i want to tell him because its killing me inside at this point.

I was young(14 and he was 17) it was such a mess the whole time because he took my virginity. I thought i loved him and he just knew! I would do anything for him, meet him whenever he wanted, have sex whenever he wanted. He made me lie to everyone so no one found out about us etc. And i still stood by him until one day i thought nah I'm not doing this anymore and then i started getting close to my now fiancé.
I ended up speaking to the first guy in a casual conversation and he told me he loved me the whole time but he was stupid and didn't know what he wanted and i was young etc. and he still thinks about me. I just told him i have moved on and I'm engaged and id rather never speak to him again. It ruined all types of friendship we had and id never recommend a fuck buddy situation.

I've never had a FWB. Just tell him how you feel. There's no sense in building up all these feelings for nothing. Maybe he feels the same way. If he doesn't, you can move past it without him. It's better to know now, than later.

I did but I didn't say anything and just let it roll. We ended up officially getting together after a few months and now we've been married for 6 years. 😁

I told mine that I wanted more than a physical relationship with him and he told me he didn’t. I moved on a got a boyfriend (who is now my sons father) and the FWB got ahold of me some months ago expressing his love for me. It’s really hit and miss.

I told him, but he didn’t feel the same. My advice would be tell him sooner rather than later and be completely honest. My FWB and I went back and forth because I told him I liked him, but apparently wasn’t clear that I wanted a relationship with him. We were friends (w/o hooking up) for a year after the last time we hooked up, but I thought there was still relationship potential because he hadn’t been clear about not seeing a relationship with me (he told me he wasn’t interested in a relationship at all, and I stupidly took that to mean he would be someday). We then got in a blow up fight because he started dating someone else, and after 2 years of being told he just wasn’t looking for a relationship, I was pretty pissed. It ultimately ruined our friendship. I wish we’d talked about it more openly and earlier on, the friendship might have been salvageable.

I never told mine because we had agreed that we wouldn’t catch feelings. I just need what was there and moved on. We had the agreement before we started things to make it less complicated.

I told him, he didn’t feel the same and wanted to keep it casual and then a friend found him on a dating app so i asked him what was going on, he said he had been going on dates with other girls but nothing has worked out yet, he said enjoyed having sex with me but didn’t see any relationship potential. I’m glad he was honest but I was totally crushed by it and I had to cut him off  totally. Ive seen him out twice since and he always tries it on. I know he doesn’t feel the same though so I’m trying my best to move on
