Mucus plug/water breaking???!!!???

I’m 38wks and 1day and this morning around 6:30am I woke up to pee and there was pink blood on the toilet paper. I thought nothing of it because on Monday I was checked and was 3cm dilated and 50% effaced and thought it was still blood from that. Then I went to the bathroom again and I was clearly losing my mucus plug. I’ve been having period like cramping ever since and now having watery discharge. I dunno if my water has broken or what’s going on. Could this mean I’m in labor? I’m so confused and don’t know if I should wake my husband

Sounds like you are going into labour and should call your doctor, but as everyone’s saying losing your plug doesn’t always mean you’re going into labour, I lost mine at 31 weeks I’m now 33+3

I lost my mucus plug at approximately 6 am and at 10:40pm my water broke and went into labor. I went to the doctor the day before and i wasn’t dilated not even a little and the next day had contractions all day and my water broke, so we never know exactly. When I arrived to the hospital I was 6cm. I was 38 weeks and 6 days.

Good luck! Be aware that you can partially lose you mucus plug multiple times 😔. I had plenty of false alarms. Hopefully this isn’t one for you. Keep timing those contractions.

Phone where ever you’re giving birth and make them aware of your symptoms. Time your cramps and see if they develop a pattern. 
Being totally truthful when Labor begins you just know there is no doubt in your mind. I lost my Mucus Plug and didn’t go into Labour for another nine days. I was 41 weeks plus when I had my Daughter.

it could but losing your mucus plug isn't a sure sign of labour. I lost mine at 36 weeks and nothing happened I made it to 39 weeks for my c section. but I had lots of signs and never actually laboured with my other pregnancy I only lost my mucus plug when I was in labour within the first few hours of staring it. so its diffrent for everyone you just have to listen to yourself and figure out what you need to do
