Okay so I’m 16 and basically know nothing about birth control. I’ve googled a bunch but I still have questions. What would be the best form of birth control to stop my period?? I can’t stand my period-I’m nonbinary so my period makes me feel like shit and also my cramps are debilitating. So yeah what birth control would stop my period?

Talk to your doctor. Different people have different responses, so whilst one will stop one person’s period, it mightn’t do the same for you. You also might need to try a few different ones to discover which one your body best responds to. Good luck!

I’d talk to a doctor, but your best options are a hormonal IUD, the implant in your arm, or there are some birth control pills that are designed to give you your period every 3/4 months. 
You can skip the sugar pills in regular birth control but unless your prescription is written that way, you are going to run out of packs. 
I’d recommend starting with the pills since some people have really bad side effects with birth control and decide to go off it. It’s a lot easier to stop taking a pill than to remove something from your body, but that’s something best discussed with your doctor.

I was on implanon for six years (each one lasts 3 years) and nexplanon for three. So nine years straight. After about year five, my periods stopped. As did all associated symptoms. However, my sex drive also stopped. Huge tradeoff when you're in a relationship. I'd never do it again because I forgot what it was like to feel like a female (was 16 when I had it put in) but I loved it nevertheless. It was practically foolproof and I never noticed any major side effects. I had light bleeding for a few weeks at a time at first but it was so light that I didn't need a pad or tampon. Everyone has different experiences with BC but I was really satisfied with the implant.

idk because I had nexplanon( the implant) and it made me bleed excessively for 3 weeks out of a month and one week break and then started for 3 weeks again and made me anemic. after a year and a half of that horror I have my first shot of depo I've had it for 2 weeks nothing yet but I am extremely dizzy all of the time, nauseous and I feel my anxiety has gotten worse. and now my bones are hurting now. ...another horror story to add to birth control methods.

the pill can stop your period if you skip your placebo pills (the pills at the end of your pack) but you can still experience some light spotting and breakthrough bleeding. I think if you get the bar in your arm, you don’t experience any periods at all.
