I recently found out I have genital herpes. I know I got it from him because I've been tested several times during our relationship, and beside my gynecologist, no one else has touched my vagina. I'm trying so hard not to be mad at him, but Its hard. I'm feeling myself start to resent him. He has never been tested for any STDs because he was a virgin when we started dating. He's going to get tested tomorrow, but he doesn't believe that he has it. That makes it even worse because he hasn't apologized or taken responsibility, so I feel like I'm going through it alone. I feel so stupid and upset. How can I keep myself from hating him?

EDIT: as far as I know, he didn't cheat. it's HSV1, which usually causes oral herpes (cold sores). He could have gotten it from kissing or eating off of someone before we even met.
