Is it easy to break Nexplanon?

I’ve heard it’s flexible and would need significant damage to the arm to cause it to break but I’m not 100% and want to know before I get it next week

I'm really protective of mine because I rely on it as my only form of protection (in a committed, monogamous relationship so no concern about STDs). But I've had some close calls, and it's held up. I do find that the area will bruise and get sore, though.
I think the general consensus is to not take unnecessary chances. My doctors won't draw blood from that arm because they don't want to put a tourniquet over the implant. I doubt that would be enough pressure, but why chance it?

Only thing really would be if you broke your arm in that exact spot but it’s very difficult to do

What kind of physical activities are you doing that youre worried about breaking it. Its implanted in your skin in your upper arm.
