Scheduled c section, do I still get checked?

I’m 37 weeks but I’m scheduled for a c section in 20 days. Will the doctor still check my cervix? All my other children were born around 37 and ended up being c sections as well. I’m considered high risk for losses and couple other smaller things, but my doctor told me before, that she don’t like to go messing around down there and stirring things up just Incase. However, that was before being considered term. I go for my strep test tomorrow but she never mentioned any check.
