am i protected?

i’ve been on the pill for 9 months and take my pills everyday at the same time. once and a while i’ll be a half an hour late or so but i’m pretty regular at taking my pill at the same time. I just started a new brand of pill 4 days ago since my other one was too strong. last night my boyfriend came in me am still i protected since i’ve been on the pill for a while?
