How many eggs did you get at retrieval?

First round IVF, Dr. is predicting 10 mature eggs based off the size of my 19 follicles. Is that enough?! This is expensive and I was hoping for more! I’m not feeling many effects and I’ve been on Stims for 10 days, so I’m happy to increase my dosage or delay my trigger....Unexplained infertility too 🙏🏻🥚🤞🏻

I had 14 mature eggs, but they were only able to retrieve 7. One ovary was blocked by a tangle of blood vessels. Out of the 7 that they retrieved, six of them fertilized. Five of them made it to day 5. We put two in, and there are three in the freezer.

30 eggs, 24 fertilized, 14 made it to freeze on day 5 and 1 on day 6 😳

They said there were 9 good follicles at last scan for me. But they could only collect 7 eggs. 5 fertilised and made it to day 5. One out back but the rest weren't good enough to be frozen. Initially on scans I had 20+ follicles on each side but not that many grew big enough.

Sorry had to repost we did it back in 2015.. Sadly this whole cycle was a bust as all transfers were a fail. We still have 1 frosty but doing a fresh cycle and doing PGS.

26 eggs,  however he removed all follicles even ones that were not mature so I didn’t have after effects.  Actual mature follicles we have 20, 18 mature eggs.  15 fertilized, 10 blasts.  I have seen a lot of ladies with 10 mature eggs ending up with 5-7 blasts.  What is key is how you were stimmed,  you don’t want to fry your ovaries and end up with poor quality.  I was honestly worried a bit when we got 18 mature eggs,  our goal was 12-15 mature.  But I also knew that we did a very steady super low stim approach. I was not overstimed and avoided OHHS entirely.  Had great results.  My RE says he really doesn’t like anymore then 20 total mature follies in there,  I was right at the edge.  The day of trigger we could say a good 15 follies at 18-24mm.  Good luck!

Be happy I only got 5 eggs and only one of which fertilized. We pay out of pocket and insurance doesn’t cover infertility. This First round cost us nearly 30k. I find out if this one and only has made it to day 6 come Tuesday morning, only then can it be frozen ..... be great ful.

13 eggs, 10 mature, 7 made it to the blast stage, and 5 were chromosomally normal (we did PGS testing).  After 2 failed FETs we were successful after our 3rd transfer... currently 24.5 weeks with a baby boy!  I know it's hard to think this way at the beginning... but it truly only takes 1!
