Any title IX university recipients here?

I do college online so it makes things a little different but I was raped in February and immediately called my school bc I knew my school work would suffer and they gave me title IX extension. Bc I said I didnt want to get more behind than I had too, a couple weeks later I realized I couldnt handle the stress and wanted to drop the class and they wouldn’t let me so I eventually failed it and had to pay out of pocket to retake it. I was never made aware of my rights or anything to do with title IX accommodations literally until my therapist told me yesterday then I did my own research and found that there’s a very high chance that they discriminated against me and violated my civil rights, I’m seriously considering getting a lawyer bc I’m done with people taking advantage of me. Anyone else have issues with title IX or violations?
