Sex with condoms

So my bf and I use condoms for sex and the pull out method since I don’t want to get on the pill that’s what we use to avoid pregnancy. He is wearing a condom and he still pulls out before finishing regardless. Does anyone else do this ? I’m just so scared to get on the pill or any other hormonal birth control I hate all that crap. I have heard nothing but bad stories about them, so I just don’t think I can deal with all those hormones.. :(
