I’d been thinking about going on the pill and decided to start taking the combined pill, my GP gave me Rigevidon and its been four days. I’ve read about lots of people having bad experiences with this pill and having blood clots, strokes etc.

Now I’m not sure if I want to carry on - is being able to have more control over my period worth the added risk of clots and strokes?? I’m assuming I could just stop now without any ordeal.

I’m really unsure and a bit scared - my periods before weren’t too bad, they were quite heavy and I would spot between periods most cycles. Other than that, it was fine and going on the pill was for contraception/being able to skip periods.

Any advice?
