went to the hair salon today for the first time in like 5 years! how much do you ladies tip your hair dresser? is it like a percentage of the cost? it's been so long, I don't remember what is an appropriate amount!

It is percentage of cost. I personally go below 10% if I hate it and won’t go back to them,  15%-20% if it’s average/ I like it, and I almost never go above 20% cuz I’m broke but when I do it’s just my trying to get a whole number

depends on friendliness, out come of service, and cost of service. I typically give $10 on a $40 cut.
