Ok fellow mommas, I have a pregnancy related question. Not for me, for a friend of mine in her first pregnancy and she hasn't announced it publicly yet. From what she's told me she's going through it sounds a lot like HG and not just regular morning sickness. The main concern is she's unable to keep food and fluid down and is throwing up to the point of she's throwing up blood from what she thinks is an esophageal tear. Anyone who has experienced HG knows it goes beyond regular morning sickness and that the usual "remedies" for nausea don't work consistently or at all. If anyone has any advice I could pass along to her that would be amazing.

I should add I've told her to go to either an urgent care or a dr of some kind to see what they can do but she's currently waiting for her insurance to come through. I just don't want her to end up in the hospital or lose the baby due to dehydration or malnutrition....

Another edit: she tried to go to urgent care and they denied her, she can't see another's doctor bc they can't afford it without insurance. She asked me to find out if there's anything else that can be done while she has this wait. She's still working a full time job selling cars and it's interfering and she has been sent home several times because of it.
