Anyone on progesterone for short cervix?

Question

I’ve been taking progesterone pills vaginally since 10 weeks and they have done nothing for my cervix. It still shorten and dilated so I got a cerclage. My doctor still wants me to take the pills but I don’t get what for and I hate the nasty ass discharge it comes with. I’m now 28 weeks. Anyone stop taking progesterone ?

I had a cerclage places at 13 weeks due to an incompetent cervix and my doctor wants me to take the progesterone suppositories till the stitch is taken out at 37 weeks.

They found i have a short cervix and have been having contractions at 14 weeks.. they said if it shortens anymore or my cramping becomes too painful go to the er and I’ll have to get a stitch.. but they check it and baby twice a month from now on..
