How do you know if what you’re feeling is Braxton Hicks and not something else?

They feel like contractions. Pretty much you’ll feel your stomach tighten up extremely hard and then release

I was told I’m having BH and I’ve been saying it’s like involuntary planking... all of a sudden my whole belly goes tense like I’m doing a plank but I might just be standing or sitting or minding my business. They don’t hurt, but they’re annoying. Bumping up to 14-16c water a day has helped lessen them... drinking a glass or two of water when they start helps too.

How do you know if what you’re feeling is Braxton Hicks and not something else?
