I am 17 and I’ve never been to a Gynecologist before. I want to schedule a appointment but will I be allowed to or do I need a parent? I really don’t want my parents knowing and want it private. What should I do? The reason I haven’t talked to my mother about going to one is bc she’ll suspect something (she still believes I am a virgin although I am not). The reason that this matters is bc she believes the only reason you should going to the gynecologist is if you’re having sex. I want to go to learn more about myself and see if everything is normal and if I’m fertile etc (not planning for pregnancy just wondering , I also don’t know what group to put this in)
