My boyfriend and I have been dating for 4 months and it couldn’t be going any better. We’re very head over heels and we’re the type of people who date to marry and on numerous occasions we’ve talked about marriage and kids and how’d we raise them. The number one thing that’s stood out in our relationship from the beginning is our differences in faith.

I am Agnostic, I’ve had a rough 6 years with many people close to me dying or falling ill, and several other disasters and I lost my faith. I consider myself agnostic because I don’t personally believe in anything but, I’m not shut out to the idea that there is religion and that there is a possibility of an all mighty power

My boyfriend on the other hand was raised and hardcore devoted Baptist. He loves God and I love his love for the lord, but we’ve come to many disagreements over our beliefs. In fact in the four months we’ve been together it’s the only thing you can say we’ve “fought” about.

I love this man and would love to be his wife one day but I fear in the future this difference will be our down fall. Then even if we make it past our differences in faith I fear what his family will do if they find out. They don’t know my beliefs and i feel they’re respect they’ve garnered for me will be lost

How do I deal with this? How do we overcome this? Is a future possible?
