It’s a common phrase you hear from well meaning Christians, but I’m calling bull. God DOES give us more than we can handle so that we HAVE to rely on him. Every time I think I can do this on my own I’m reminded how wrong I am. Infertility is not something I can do alone, and I don’t have to try (although I’m stubborn and constantly try to do it on my own). God is there waiting to pick me back up and carry me through the storm. But trying to do it alone gets me nowhere. So WHEN, not IF, it’s too much for you to handle just accept it for what it is and call out to only one who can get you through.
