When did you decide to see an RE?

We’ve been trying for our second child for 18 months now with no success. My doctor has me taking clomid but he is not monitoring my cycles, doing any tests, or anything to see if the clomid is working. I just finished my second round and I’m now waiting for AF to show up in the next couple of days. We did have a semen analysis done and my husband has low sperm count and very low motility. But my doctor seems to think just giving me clomid is going to allow us to conceive. I feel like it might be time to consult someone who will actually run some tests to see what all is going on and what our next steps are. Does it sound like it’s time to consult a specialist? Any stories on what led you to take that next step would be very inspiring to me. Good luck to all of you ladies!
