Vanishing twin? And gender guess?

So we found out at our 12 week appointment that I was carrying twins but one didn’t develope, my obgyn said my body would just absorb the other sac. Anyone else going through this? 
On a brighter note.. guess the gender! Heart rate was 162!

I had a vanishing twin too.  It never developed past 8 weeks and at 12 it was gone and just the sac.  It’s probably got the best and my other baby is healthy so I am happy but the twin posts do invoke a twinge is jealousy that both their twins made if. Even though the thought of two has me a bit terrified

My first appt i was 7 weeks and 2 days, i was pregnant with twins as well but the other didn’t have a heart beat. They told me my body would absorb as well! Next appt it was no longer there , but other baby was very active and still perfectly healthy! ❤️

Yep at my first scan I had 2 sacs but the other one was already starting to be absorbed x

Had it with my first and grew two placentas just one was empty..... you might look bigger than you would have with one baby. I was huge! I have 3D ultrasounds of my daughter nuzzling to other placenta and when she came out she would huddle blankets the same for comfort
