Would you float the river pregnant?

Just curious if anyone has or would float the river pregnant?

We went to the river and I stayed around a swimming hole. Everyone else floated but the river was low in a lot of spots and required a bit of walking and I honestly didn’t want to risk falling. I still had an okay time. However. The worst part was everyone else getting rowdy and drinking. It was like being at a frat party for 4 days straight with no escape. Hahaha

The rivers around here I wouldnt hesitate, they're calm and relaxed so i dont see anything wrong with it. Maybe no whitewater rafting 😂

I floated the Comal in New Braunfels ,Texas this weekend.  It has a few tube chutes and I was weary of them but everything else was incredibly calm. I would make sure it’s not to low so you aren’t walking or dragging and have plenty of water. Also tons of sunscreen from what I understand when pregnant your burn faster/worse. My doctor said that was the thing I should be most concerned with when floating. Other than that I enjoyed it a lot and so did our little guy. I am 23 weeks on Wednesday.

Like everyone else said, depends on the river. If it’s calm, yes, if it gets choppy or you’re unsure of how shallow or deep or getting out, then why risk it?

my cousin went tubing down a river. had  an accident and lost her baby. idk if I would do it. just depends how bad currents are. probably need more info

It depends on how intense the river gets. I have thought a lot about this because we do an annual float day with friends at a river near us. I want to go so badly! But, it just gets too choppy in some places and I have seen a woman lose her footing at the spot where you get out of the water, and nearly drown. I’m not concerned about the floating itself hurting the baby; I’m concerned about my center of gravity being off with my belly, losing my footing, and drowning.
